How to Become a Poll Worker

Be a part of the democratic process and work as a poll worker for the Democratic Party!

Successful elections depend on the services of poll workers who work at the polling places on Election Day. In order to effectively assist voters, the Hamilton County Democratic Party staffs each of Hamilton County's polling places with 2 pollworkers: 1 Judge and 1 Clerk.

The Hamilton County Democratic Party is always looking for new pollworkers. One of our goals is to broaden the pool of pollworkers to include diversity in age, ethnicity and bilingual skills. We are looking for people who are dedicated, efficient, patient and friendly!

Qualifications
To apply for the pollworker position you must meet the following qualifications:

* Be a registered voter of Hamilton County
* You cannot be a candidate or related to an opposed candidate
* Be 18 years old by Election Day*
* Individuals who are 16 or 17 years of age are able to be poll workers. Click here for more info.
